Winter Delays & Closings Information

During winter weather, the safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. If snow, ice, or hazardous road conditions occur, the district carefully monitors conditions before making decisions regarding delays or school closures. Families will be notified through district and school websites, School Messenger alerts, local news stations, and official district social media pages.

District Snow Day Policy

The first five snow days are built into the school calendar and will not require makeup days. Days six through ten will be take-home packet learning days. No devices will be taken home for students. Please check your child’s daily folder for their winter weather take-home packet. If ten or more snow days are needed, makeup days may be added later, which could impact Spring Break or other scheduled days off.

We value the strong partnership between our school and families and appreciate your continued support as we begin the New Year. Together, we will continue to create a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment where every student can grow and succeed. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the school if you have questions or need assistance
